#28 Lucky

This painting was done 100% with a knife.  I just bought 3 news ones Sunday that I am satisfied with.  The photo of  the horse and rider are a reference from Debbie Simmons files. (with permission)  The background is imaginary.  Her photo was in a rodeo setting.  I wanted to simplify it and concentrate on the horse.  I think she looks big for that horse.  I may have to scrap and revisit.
On a side note, 28 is my lucky number!

    I love the knife effect...texture. Don't scrap it...I can hear her hooves, feel the wind. Horse is a young filly. xo
