Travis and I went to an Asian restaurant this week and we had the prettiest little waitress. After we ate I asked her if I could snap a photo of her. She was all embarrassed, but sat down in my seat and just was happy as could be I asked for her picture. I told her I would paint her and bring it back to her. A good excuse to go eat there again! I don't have her features correct, but after I finish I hope it will look like her. The light in the cafe was so filtered I thought it would be a good photo. I wanted to drag an easel in and just paint her! What an addiction I have. (Thank you Andrea and Adam.) I never liked to draw people before I started that Thurs. evening session with them. Now, it's compulsive. Yicks.
